Jeremias Loock is the founder of The Other Bottle, Portugal’s leading distributor and curator of premium alcohol-free beverages. As well as supplying Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels, and retailers across Portugal he has a bricks and mortar shop in Lisbon. His mission is to make sophisticated alcohol-free drinking a natural, desirable part of modern hospitality.

As a fan of bitter/sweet flavours, his personal favourite non-alc category is aperitifs – either over ice with olives, or mixed down with tonic. But for WAFA 2026, Jeremias is most excited to explore the evolving landscape of alcohol-free wine.

Before entering the drinks world, Jeremias spent 15 years in film production and in his early 20s was well known for producing gangster hip hop videos – not least with DMX when he was at the height of his fame. We’re looking forward to amazing video posts from the judging days!
