Juan's focus on alcohol-free products began in 2023, working with craft beer producers across Europe, which gave him a deep understanding of the DNA of the category. He has since presented, written about and tasted hundreds of products and is the co-creator of the No/Low category on retail website QoQa.ch. 

Juan has a focus on raising awareness of the many sub-categories within the NoLo world, and particularly enjoys capturing the stories of producers and sharing them with people. The dynamism and innovation of this emerging sector reminds him of the craft beer world - and he's determined that the sector's diversity means that everyone can always find a great AF option to fill their glass.

At WAFA, he is particularly excited about discovering wine alternatives that break away from traditional wine logic and instead carve out a category of their own.

When not writing about producers, you’ll find him at day parties, dancing with an AF beer in hand and debating the easiest ways to get to the airport for an early-morning flight.
