Alcohol-free is already one of the most dynamic parts of the drinks’ world. And the category just got even better, with the launch of its first ever dedicated competition.

The World Alcohol-Free Awards is the first and only competition anywhere on the planet dedicated entirely to drinks at or below 0.5% ABV and it’s now open for entries across the entire AF spectrum.

From beers to RTDs, spirits to kombuchas and wines to functionals, every non-alcoholic product is given a chance to shine, with entries accepted until the start of February.

We’ll be using top judges to assess what comes in. People, who, crucially, are specialised in the area of non-alcoholic drinks and understand the subtleties and complexities of the category. Our head of judging, Chrissie Parkinson is one of the most respected palates in the drinks’ world, and an acknowledged expert in the area of alcohol-free.

Open to all

One of the hallmarks of alc-free is that it’s open to everybody. Which is why, as well as rewarding drinks that are excellent in their field, we’ll also be looking to give out special awards for products that are organic, vegan, gluten-free, halal and demonstrably ethical.
