Exciting news from Holland, where one of WAFA's top European judges, Marielle Timmermans, has announced that her company, Amavine, has acquired the well-established online retailer alcoholfreedrinks.nl. 

The latter was an early mover into the field of alcohol-free, starting up ten years ago, and has an extensive range of AF wines, beers and cocktails and a loyal customer base.

Amavine is a younger company, but has quickly gained a reputation for the strength and diversity of its range of craft alcohol-free products, selling across consumers, hospitality and retail. 

The two businesses will continue to be run independently - and looks like a strong co-existence. There is little duplication and a really strong combined portfolio of non-alcoholic drinks across all product categories and price ranges. With everything from well-priced and accessible to rare and exclusive being controlled under one roof the alc-free loving consumers (and businesses) in the Netherlands are in for a treat!
